What do Gray Wolves, Polar Bears, Rhinos, Elephants, Dolphins, Orcas, and U.S.A. Public Wilderness have to do with Vote4Wilderness?

EVERYTHING.

Ok, bear with me here.
There is a lot of ground to cover, in order to illustrate the connection that Vote4Wilderness has to many of the wildlife abuses that we are witnessing, and the USA political climate that can change that.

Animal abuse issues are all absolutely pølitical at the core.

Change the environment of law and policy makers who implement those laws first, and then you can change the world for our wildlife.

1. Let’s consider the issue of our Gray Wolves.
I’ve suspected for a while now, that the massive amount of energy and money poured into the movement to delist our wolves from the E.S.A. protections runs far deeper than just the conflict over predation for the ranching industry.
If the wolves are stripped of E.S.A. protections, then the public land, or habitat that they occupy now will be open for drilling. That is where the big money lies. Shale oil drilling in the western U.S.A. is worth a ton of money to big oil companies, and they are connected to the Koch brothers, who have a tremendous amount of influence with the U.S.A. GOP right now.
Our gray wolves are simply standing in their path to profit.

2.The issue of cetacean captivity and the connection to Taiji, Japan, SeaWorld, and the U.S.A. Government.

Who is the U.S.A. government agency that issues the permits to import those 
cetaceans?

The N.O.A.A.
They fall under the U.S.A. Department of the Interior.
(The same department that oversees the listing of our wolves and other Buddies as endangered species. The one and the same we have been addressing, through Secretary Sally Jewell and Director Dan Ashe to protect our Gray Wolves from wolf hunting via state wildlife management services, who have already legally removed themselves from the federal E.S.A protective blanket.)

So, we can spend time on Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ railing away at how cruel it is to capture our Ocean Buddies, and vilifying an entire country, i.e. Japan, needlessly, or we can vote to make sure that the U.S.A. Congress has a majority of politicians who are evolved and aware about what laws need to change, in order to end cetacean hell and bloodshed once and for all.

If you have doubts about that? Then please consider the wave of awareness that began for the Taiji dolphin slaughters when Caroline Kennedy, U.S.A. ambassador to Japan, publicly decried the dolphin round up on Twitter. It was a big day for Taiji activists. We needed for a person in a position of authority to draw public attention to Taiji, just as much as we will need to support the Japanese Taiji activists to help to draw an end to this era of red cove hell for dolphins.

3. Did we stop to consider that the U.S.A. has a role to play in the ivory trade that is driving our rhinoceros and elephant populations towards the brink of extinction? 
We do. 
President Obama, along with Hillary Clinton have had a role to play in banning ivory sales in the U.S.A.

We must have a Congress that will pass these laws against animal atrocities. My President can not do this on his own, he has to answer to his Congress, that is just the way that it is done in the United States of America.

4.What do polar bears and a shrinking Arctic have to do with the U.S.A. Congress? Well, consider that President Obama’s recent initiative to cut carbon dioxide emissions by 30% was met with a threat by the U.S.A. majority Republicans in Congress to shut down our government. Again. They are entrenched in a state of climate change denial, because they are invested in dirty energy. It is profitable for them.

Who cares if polar bears on the other side of the planet are suffering a fate that few of us can stomach to witness? Polar bears faced with starvation and drowning because our climate change is dooming them. A very ugly reality. Those who face and fight this are carrying a heartbreak that the climate deniers chose to see as a fairy tale. That does not change the reality.
Climate change is real. It is here. Last May, 2014 was the hottest ever in recorded history. Our Arctic and Antarctic ice shields are melting irrevocably at a rate that surprises even the scientists who predicted it.
Our planet is changing, and it is our fault.

You have the power to stop this.
By voting in November.

If you chose to stay home on voting day, and allow the faction of folks who see our aniamls in the wild,(or our wildlife), and our Earth’s health as merely an impedance on their path to riches, at the expense of our wilderness?
Then your voice on Twitter, Google+ or Facebook crying about the injustices our Buddies face, will simply fall on deaf ears. The haters do not care what you think. Your only chance is to vote them out of office.
